I found this easy to use, with plenty of settings so that I can vary the styles that I want to achieve and I've had no problems using it on my slighly shorter than medium length hair. My hair is nightmarish - course, unruly and with a mind of its own. I have tried a million different hair products and so far have found that only the GHD straighteners can help me achieve normal person's hair. Now I can give my GHD a rest as these Babyliss curling tongs have become a semi-replacement for my straighteners. If I can control my rebellious locks than I'm pretty sure that 99.99% of the rest of the population will have no problems using this tongs. If I hadnt got these through the Vine programme then I would definitely pay out the money for them. ABsolute life savers and a nice break from straightening all the time.

I got this for my girlfriend. I asked her how many stars she'd give it out of five, she said four. I said, 'ok, what don't you like about it?' She said 'nothing', so I've given it five stars.
At first she had a bit of trouble using it, and there's definitely some technique to it. You basically heat up the wand, spray your hair, wrap your hair around the wand. There's definitely a knack to twisting the hair around (the curls won't stay at first, but when you get it it's great). The two main positives are:
1) You can adjust the strengths/heats you put it on depending on your hair, which means if you use the right setting, the curls stay in even for fine hair.
2) If you curl it with straighteners, the curl is the same all the way down. With the wand, the curls at the top are bigger, and the curls at the bottom are smaller, which looks more natural.
So all in all a thumbs up, but you need to persist until you get the hang of it, and you need to give yourself quite a bit of time to do it. It's not quick. But, as Charlotte has just said to me 'if you want natural looking curls, that's what you've got to do!'

I am seriously impressed with this product. Tried it for the first time last night and my hair looked really fab. Lovely bouncy curls i absolutely loved. Plus I slept and awake for work 2day with loads of comments about how good my hair looks. I did use the glove for some bits but its not necessary if ur capable.I actually loved using it aswell, lol quite fun. ANYWAY the price is excellent and it does the job, plus 3yr guaruntee.Just buy it!

I have tried for ages to curl my hair although my hair is curly its very curly and doesnt produce large glamourous curls. However getting this product changed all that my hair was AMAZING it was really fast to work as it heated up really fast and i had my whole head perfect in under half a hour. i liked how i didnt need to fiddle around getting curlers and it didnt pull my hair like other curlers have in the past. I nearly gave up on having lovely curly hair i am glad i didnt and that i bought this product I would definatly recommend the curling wand to everyone.

Brilliant curling wand. Much better than the ones with the clip bit that makes a kink in your hair. Does get very hot, but the glove provided is adequate for protection. Would definitely recommend this product 100%.
